It utilizes a controlled, non-heat-driven process in which bipolar radiofrequency energy excites electrolytes in a saline solution to create a focused and charged plasma gas. This plasma dissolves tissue at relatively low temperatures, between 40°C and 70°C, enabling volumetric removal of the target tissue with minimal damage to surrounding healthy tissues.
