Bipolar
Accurate: 470 kHz sinusoid.
Standard: 470 kHz sinusoid.
Macro: 470 kHz sinusoid.
Monopolar Cut
Bass: 390 kHz sinusoid. Maximum voltage limited to a value lower than Pure Cut mode.
Pure: 390 kHz sinusoid.
Mix: 390 kHz sinusoid bursts repeating at 27 kHz intervals, with a 50% duty cycle envelope.
Monopolar Coagulation
Desiccated: 240 kHz sinusoid repeated at 39 kHz with 8% duty cycle.
Flare: Damped sinusoidal bursts of 390 kHz with a repetition rate of 30 or 57 kHz into a 500 ohm load.
Spray: Damped sinusoidal bursts of 390 kHz with a random repetition centered at 28 kHz, including frequencies of 21 kHz < f < 35 kHz.
Power Variation and Leakage
The power output changes by less than 15% or 5 watts, whichever is greater, as the line voltage varies from 104 to 132 volts and from 208 to 264 volts (at rated load).
Low frequency leakage (50-60 Hz):
With chassis ground intact: <10 µA.
With open ground: < 50 µA.
High frequency leak:
Bipolar: less than 60 mArms.
Monopolar: less than 150 mArms.
REM™ Contact Quality Monitoring System
Measurement frequency: 80 kHz ± 10 kHz.

Acceptable resistance ranges:
REM™ Pad: 5 to 135 ohms.
Non-REM™ pad: less than 20 ohms.
The acceptance range is 5 to 135 ohms after applying the REM PolyHesive™ II return electrode.
REM™ triggering occurs when the reference impedance increases by more than 40%. If the patient-electrode impedance falls below the reference impedance, a new reference is established.
